One in two marriages end in divorce, the statistic is well over 50% now. What happens when we are ready to get back out into the world of dating? Where do we go to meet people of like minds who are our age and who are not carrying excessive baggage? With busy schedules of work, children and school, its hard to meet that new person whom you'd like to get to know. We found that there are some do's and don'ts if this is the route you decide to take to meet someone. Post a Photo - Yes, profiles with photos get 8X the amount of notice, however that is only true with quality photos. Take your time, remember this is the FIRST impression of yourself to over 1 million people. Write a Great Profile - The best way to get noticed and stand out in a sea of faces is to have a stellar profile. Don't Give Out Personal Information Be Aware - Not everyone on the Internet Dating scene may be as honest as yourself. We found that some of the biggest no-no's was people not being themselves. It's very easy to become and play the roll of some one else. If you do decide to try this realm of dating, remember to be safe and be yourself! |
